Shipping Information


Cartoning is included in the price of each item; freight is paid directly to the shipping carrier. While we may provide a freight quote, no freight is EVER paid to IDS Furniture, Inc., nor is any freight included in our prices. Any discounts we have with a carrier are passed directly on to our customers. Most orders will be shipped freight collect. The freight amount will be collected either at the time of delivery, billed to the receiver, or billed to a third party at your request. As a courtesy, please have a check waiting for the driver if you are accepting a freight collect delivery. 


Any visible damage to cartons or items must be noted on the bill of lading before receiver accepts possession of shipment, and the driver is allowed to leave. All goods must be inspected within 24 hours of receipt from freight carrier, but preferably as soon as possible. Should any concealed damage be discovered at the time of inspection, the carrier needs to be notified immediately so that they can send a third party to assess the damage for freight claim purposes. A freight claim should be made with them by you. We will not assume liability for breakage occurring in transit. IDS Furniture, Inc. will not be liable for freight damages.


Customers are also welcome to pick up orders from our facility in Dallas, Texas, by appointment only. Our dock hours are from 8am-3pm CST Monday-Friday. Once a dock appointment has been made, your orders are pulled and will be ready at the dock for your expected pick up time. If a balance is owed on your order, payment is expected before your driver arrives. Warehouse staff are not allowed to collect payments at the time of pick up.
